On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, the Junee Seniors hosted a “Grant Acknowledgement Luncheon” to say thank you to some of the organisations that have funded various of the projects under our “Bring the Junee Seniors Hall in to the 21st Century” strategy.
Kyle from GrainCorp, along with John and Rebecca from the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club, attended the lunch and our grant writers and project managers Janice, Nicholas, and Ben were also present; along with our committee and many members of the Junee Seniors.
Giant Thank you to our Funders
The Junee Seniors are extremely thankful for the funding that both GrainCorp and the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club have provided our organisation.
“Their investment in our not-for-profit community organisation allows us to continue to improve the facilities in our hall, making it a more welcoming and usable environment for both our members, and to other local community groups that hire the hall for their own meetings and activities now and into the future,” said Trish Davies, Secretary of Junee Seniors Inc.
“This luncheon is just a small token of appreciation, and public acknowledgement, of both GrainCorp’s and the Junee Ex-Services Club support for various small, but vital, projects that are helping to bring the Junee Seniors in to the 21st Century,” Mrs Davies continued.
Thanks to the funding provided by GrainCorp and the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club, the Junee Seniors successfully undertook the following projects:
