Highlights from Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in Junee, held at the Junee Senior Citizen’s Hall.
Friday, May 24, 2024 saw the Junee Senior Citizen’s Hall filled with local residents supporting Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea in Junee to raise funds for the Cancer Council.

NSW Seniors Festival in Junee 2024 Highlights
The Junee Seniors celebrated the 2024 NSW Seniors Festival with a number of events and activities during the week commencing Sunday March 17 thru to Saturday March 23.
- Afternoon Tea was served at the Junee Senior Citizen’s Hall as part of the Festival Launch Event on the Sunday afternoon.
- A bus trip to Albury with morning tea at Culcairn, lunch at Albury Commercial Club and a wander around Peards Nursery
- A couple of free Concert’s and Movies held at the Athenium Theatre and Junee Ex-Services Club
- Various Exercises and Activities at the Junee Junction Recreation and Aquatic Centre
- Various Activities, including an Author Visit by Dr Anne Ring, at the Junee Library
- Bingo at the Junee Senior Citizen’s Hall and Junee Ex-Services Club
- Croquet and Lunch at the Junee Ex-Services Club
- A dinner with Rotary Club of Junee
- A Closing Dinner event at the Junee Senior Citizen’s Hall

Steph Cooke Visits the Junee Seniors to see Hall Upgrades
The Hon. Steph Cooke MP, the Member for Cootamundra, visited the Junee Senior Citizen’s Hall on February 20, 2024 to see the recent refurbishments that had recently been undertaken thanks to a $60,783 grant provided under the NSW Government’s Clubgrants Category 3 Fund.
