Notice of Annual General Meeting for Junee Senior Citizen’s Welfare Club Inc

  8. Special Resolutions
    1. Motion: That the name of the Association be changed FROM “Junee Senior Citizen’s Welfare Club Inc” TO “Junee Seniors Inc” or “Junee Senior Citizens Inc” or “Junee Senior Citizens Club Inc”.
      Proposed: Trish Davies Seconded: Barbara Guthrie
    2. Motion: The Association adopts the presented Constitution as the Constitution of the Association.
      Proposed: Trish Davies Seconded: Andrew Clinton
    3. Motion: The fees that are required to be remitted to Fair Trading NSW for the above amendments to the Associations’ Name and Constitution ($124 GST Free for an Application to register change of name and $62 GST Free for an Application to register change of objects or constitution) shall be paid by the Association.
      Proposed: Andrew Clinton Seconded: Trish Davies
    4. Motion: The Association enables Electronic Banking on its’ exisiting Bank Account (BSB: 062 557 Account: 10141857) held with the Commonwealth Bank. The authorised persons for this account shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer (as elected above) and ANY TWO of these authorised persons are able to approve transactions for this account.
      Proposed: Barbara Guthrie Seconded: Trish Davies
    5. Motion: The Association opens a seperate bank account, in the Associations’ name, with the Commonwealth Bank that has a Debit Mastercard or VISA card service attached to it. The Debit Card itself shall be issued in the personal name of the Treasurer (as elected above). The sum of $200 shall be transferred from the Association’s main bank account to establish this account.

  9. General Business
    (Only if supplied IN WRITING to the Secretary, at least seven days prior to the AGM)
  10. Close of Annual General Meeting

Afternoon Tea shall be served after the AGM

A copy of the proposed Constitution, which is based on the Model Constitution for Incorporated Associations, as supplied by Fair Trading NSW since June 2024, and modified by the Junee Seniors, can be viewed here…
