The 2025 Junee Seniors Festival will be held from Saturday March 8 through to Saturday March 15, 2025.

I am delighted to welcome you all to this year’s Seniors Week – a special time to celebrate the wisdom, experience, and invaluable contributions of our senior community. This annual event is a reflection of the strength and spirit of Junee, bringing people together to share stories, create new memories, and enjoy a diverse range of activities.

Our program this year offers something for everyone, from thought-provoking discussions to lively entertainment and exciting outings. Whether you are drawn to the fascinating world of genealogy, eager to experience the nostalgia of the Illabo Motor Sports Park, or looking forward to the laughter and connection at the Golden Harmony Luncheon Extravaganza, there is an event to suit every interest.

For those with a love of adventure, join us on a wonderful bus trip to Griffith, where we will visit the renowned Catania Fruit Salad Farm and enjoy an experience at Calabria Wines. Film enthusiasts won’t want to miss Young Women and the Sea, a truly inspiring movie that tells an incredible story of resilience and determination. And as the sun sets, come together for Sunset Beats and Bites at the Athenium Theatre Green Space — a perfect way to wrap up the celebrations with music, great company, and delicious food.

Seniors Week is not just about events; it’s about community. It’s about honouring the friendships, connections, and contributions that make Junee such a wonderful place to call home. I encourage you all to take part, embrace the opportunities, and most importantly, enjoy every moment.
