Thanks to a $2,500 grant through the ARTC Inland Rail Community Grants Program; the Junee Seniors have purchased modern and matching commercial grade crockery, cutlery, glassware, and tableware for the Junee Seniors’ Hall.

This project is just one of many that have been recently undertaken by the Junee Seniors to bring ourselves, and our hall, in to the 21st Century.

The funding from ARTC Inland Rail has enabled us to purchase the following crockery, cutlery, and tableware:

  • 48 x Luncheon Plates (230mm)
  • 72 x Side Plates / Canapé Plates (155mm)
  • 48 x Soup Plates (230ml)
  • 48 x Table Knives
  • 48 x Table Forks
  • 48 x Soup Spoons
  • 48 x Dessert Spoons
  • 48 x Cake Forks
  • 60 x Tea Spoons
  • 48 x Mugs (250ml)
  • 48 x Glasses (473ml)
  • 24 x Salt & Pepper Shakers

The upcoming Junee Seniors Festival 2025 Launch and Closing events will see the first official use of the new tableware!

The new tableware is available for hire when utilising the Junee Seniors Hall for local community events and private commemorative functions.

The new tableware is stored in the recently installed cabinets that were funded thanks to a seperate grant via the Junee Ex-Services Memorial Club.

Special Thank You

Veridia
We’d like to take this opportunity to publicly thank Chris, and the Veridia Wagga Wagga team, for working with the Junee Seniors on our Modern Tableware Project. Thanks to their expert advice, we were able to maintain both the quantity and quality of the tableware we desired, whilst coming in slightly under budget!
